Varying desk heights can be achieved by using the remote, memory touch pad, when coupled with a lift mechanism base (see below). Quality and authenticity are cornerstones to our building process. From harvesting hand selected American, sustainable hardwoods, to sawing, to kiln drying, to assembling, to finishing, our desktops are expertly made by Amish craftsmen, “the old-fashioned way”, where quality workmanship is a value. All desktops are 100% American made, crafted in Ohio and Pennsylvania, utilizing hardwoods sustainably harvested from the same areas. Because the natural edge of the tree defines each desk, no two pieces are ever the same, creating “one of a kind” heirloom desk for you to pass from generation to generation.
Lift Mechanism Desk Base:
Driven by a powerful, silent, and smooth, single motor lift system, creating a 1.5 inch per second lift speed, the height of your desk is controlled by you. The controller touch screen features customizable settings for desired user heights. Poor posture puts unnecessary and unhealthy strain on your back and neck, but the electrically driven lift mechanism elevates your workstation to a desirable ergonomic height, while encouraging healthy movement during the workday. Standing periodically is important for proper circulation, as well as helping you stay awake and alert. This frame is constructed of solid steel to insure stability, durability and longevity. Adjustable “feet pads” also aid in stability by allowing customization to any floor surface. The drive mechanism is backed by a three-year warranty. Recommended lift weight is 180 pounds or less.
Sizing:
Stock desktop sizes are 30”X54” and 30”X66”. Each desktop is constructed of 100%, sustainable American hardwood, sustainably harvested from Ohio and Pennsylvania. Should you desire a size other than those listed, please contact us to discuss. We can accommodate your needs. All desktops are 1-5/8” in thickness.
